The Gaia Series was produced during summers in the South-West, from 1990-95. I used a Widelux camera to photograph the landscape. Used vertically it records from foot level to the sky, bringing into view a more holistic sense of space. These hand-painted black and white prints range in size from 5x17 to 17x50 inches.
