"Life's A Beach" was begun in 1985 at Venice Beach, California. Photographing with a wide angle lens and leaving my camera hanging around my neck, I learned to frame shots without looking. The series became an installations that was exhibitied at the Danforth Museum in Massachusetts and Space Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. The images are 20x24 and 40x60 inches and are hand-painted. Some are still available.
