Plant Life is a series of photographs taken between 1975 and 1986. After living many years in the country I moved to a loft in downtown Boston. I began to notice the struggle of plants trying to exist in an urban environment, and it became a metaphor for my life. For the next ten years, I documented these plants across the country. Most of the prints are 11x14 inches. There are a number of vintage prints left in my collection.
